Leave behind what has been struck
accumulating dust
Begin this day un-modeled clay
from depth upwardly thrust

Mold not to a function
assume no given form
Resist comfort of the half-life
for the fury of the storm

Enjoin the elemental
in the present you create
Stand before the multitude
and denounce belief in fate

Feel within the strength of those
whom none can ever rule
Take pride in the possession of
those who think you fool

This is great Dr.Moose! Every day is a new beginning, isn't it? Another chance to start over and forge our path into the future. Well done!

I try to start each day fresh, but sometimes I need those wisdoms learned from all the mistakes of the past.  Great poem, Doc!

Dr. Moose~

'assume no given form'

Pensively brilliant.

O.K. , there really was something I wanted to share here, so I guess if I felt that stongly about it ,  I'll bump it up ...
d,
Your replys are always well recieved , thank you

Martie ,
When people start to quote my words back to me , I'm either on another planet or I start to thinking ( both of which are dangerous )

Marge ,
It's really not that "pensive" or at least I hope not , 'cause I'm already over my credit limit

Claire ,
Speaking of "stute" it's about time I got back ,Thanks for the reply !

hoot'
I don't know about a very wise man named Dr. Moose , but I used to know a very wise moose named Dr.Mann .Hmmmm  , very interesting !

Well done.   (I am not a wise moose, nor for that matter, a moose, not a doctor either, although I have been called a quack, which might well make me a goose, well...actually a duck, but duck doesn't rhyme with moose, but then quack doesn't rhyme with wise either, which is really beside the point), the point being, I concur with the comments of the ladies.
