Elliptical Light Evermore I am walking in a shadow that distills tactility, nor does it listen to this race of time that quickens each step ‘til breathing is my focus. I am tired of the constancy that keeps me from withering, when I would sink and soak my hands in the earth until I could feel my own pulse there in the mire fired and magical as this orb of moon that carries meaning in its circumference. Feelings are so fragile as this waning candle, they step with precision touching each stone to be sure of motivation, gauging each word for purity. I want to fly past the edge of meaning and be effortless translucent flow mingled and pressed by stars torn by storms density until I find passion’s gate open and calling to me and there to glide that elliptical light evermore. Martie, Although I love rhyme, yours is the only free verse poetry I read with delight and joy. You fly like a bird. *L* |

Martie~ You know - that I know - that Seymour knows fine poetry .... so, you know - that I know -that you know, without me telling you I know, that I have been known to like the things you know well enough to let us know about them. And from this deduction I have drawn the conclusion that you knew all along that I WOULD LOVE THIS ! And I do .... ya' know ! THAT MOON ROCKS ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Once again you have created a beautiful work of art my friend. It simply boggles my poor mind how you maintain such of flow of exquisite poems. I finished the poem and realized I had a smile of contentment on my face. Wonderful poem Martie. (p.s. and yes, you were right about the moon.. smile) |
