If you could see deep inside of me
I wonder if we would see the same
would you feel my heart quicken
to see me smile at nature so untame

The beauty of a butterfly in flight
the way night is lit by the moon
or day is brightened by the sun
how I tap to a Mantovani tune

Or the concern when I see a child
sad or looking lost and all alone
the lady as she looks through trash
so thankful for the little that I own

Or of the many smiles that reach my face
reading of all your lives each and every day
that salty taste as I cry with those that hurt
looking for something cheery that I can say

Or hope we each will find and give away a smile
to those that hurt and keep it from us
remembering that we're the lucky ones
if our days consist of a minus and a plus..

When I saw the title, I was afraid this was gonna be a math test... and my brain is already fried. LOL. But instead, I found a beautiful poem... from a lovely lady who is such a plus in my life!!!

Suthern: Well, I know you're good at maths, so I set you a test..

Broken Wings: I can think of two responses, one is, how can I heal your broken wing and the other is, no..

Denise: I just answered your other post, not tongue in cheek although it may sound that way...but sometimes I'm afraid to type words, it's much like having a tape recorder on, you hate the sound of hearing your own voice..

HUSG

LR: Be quiet, you!!!...It's not my fault, I need more red wine to build me up...*g*

Danny: you sneaked in there, yes, sweetheart, if you have food in the kitchen, a pound or a dollar in your pocket, a roof over your head, all you lack is arms to hold you, unless of course you're lucky enough to have two of them as well..

A very thoughtful poem, one we all need to keep in mind as we rush through hectic days and sleepless nights. You made my day just a bit brighter. Thanks,

RainbowGirl~
How appropriate that we
take time to count the
little blessings in life.

Today is a PLUS ... you are here
in my heart and my thoughts and prayers.
GREAT BIG HUGS !
