My apple Five sentinel stand guard in line, The sentient of my mind. And they all bow in obeyance, To the aura of her presence. Her spirit lives my ivory tower, Decants the fragrance of her flower. And I, a patron this matron, In this second Eden beckon. She is the core that holds the store. She is the key my evermore. She's the beginning and the past, The very first step and the last. She is the substance of my goal, The other half of my soul. She is my tower of retreat, And is my Eden full complete. She is the priestess of my chapel And my Eve, without the apple. |

Very interesting, although I am not sure of some of the references. Who or what are the five sentinels? I hope this is not an offensive question and if it is I apologize in advance, I am brand new to your number. Thanks for an enjoyable poem. David2 |
