My God is a loving God
Not one of vengeance or wrath
But one who comes with arms open
And warms the heart with a loving laugh

My God helps me in so many ways
When things go wrong, I don’t question why
I just give in to faith ever renewing
And hold my hands up to the blessed sky

It may be blasphemy today
It may be wrong to say
It may be why I feel this way

My God is a loving God
Not one to cruelly destroy
But breathes life into me
When life is fully enjoyed

My God is the creator of me
And all that I am
A never ending story
To be read over and over again

It may be blasphemy today
My body offered up this way
Before my God I pray

AMEN! What a beautiful heartfelt portrayal of God. I think that is the message the world in general needs to hear.....that God is a loving God!

I'm reading between the lines in this one...for some reason i think you have a hidden meaning...entwine our minds and enlighten me...HMMM...that sounds like the begining of a poem
