Your eyes drew me warm and alive with mischief deceiving and delightful dark with the mystery of many buried things for a moment they saw me and I was forever lost to a free spirit floating briefly into my life pausing long enough to change all I knew a serpent in my thoughts hissing your words into my ear you slithered away with my sanity seducing me with tongue flickers my breath became your name my sight branded by your face you....my everything and I...your addict stripped of everything My soul My love My mind and finally...My dignity I disappeared replaced by something useless fading from your eyes vague within mine distorted images within a broken mirror tiny shards of me embedded in your retreating belly... I love the time and in between the calm inside me in the space where I can breathe... Sarah McLachlan |

This was excellent. It drew me in and kept me. |

Temptress...Thank you so much.. Marge...THanks! *grinning* My puter has just been giving me fits lately...I have to post comments and poems like 4 times before this place will accept my password...Rather frustrating... Anyways...thanks! I love the time and in between the calm inside me in the space where I can breathe... Sarah McLachlan |
