Moonglow
~*Marge Tindal*~

Moonglow
bathes the night
with splendorous light
glowing softly in her flight
Amazing wonder doth behold
look a piece of treasured gold
when glancing up, you will see
reflections of a lighted heart
shining down brightly on thee
Moonbeams shared in the
night lasting 'til the
morning light

Marge,

This was simply splendid! You write so amazingly well and convey a long range of emotions. The title is what initially drew me to this to begin with. Well, that and the fact that it was one of yours lol. But the poem itself lived up to the reputation of the poet! Nice job!

INclan~
Thank you for that compliment.
It is not taken lightly.
I hope you can tell that
I LOVE what I do.
If it didn't please anyone else
it would still please me ...
the fact that it does is just
a double-delight.

Serenity~
For just 'a moment in time'
the light is suspended for us to capture.
The spirit of light shines tonight for sure.
Thank you, little one.

Amy~
A chance encounter through e-mail with a
friend had me sending him to look at the
moon that shines down on both of us ...
it just rose in the sky and fell to the page.
Thank you for enjoying it too.
I hope I can always draw you in and
not disappoint you.

A beautiful expression.  I find comfort in knowing that even though I can't see those that I love we share the same moon and stars.
So close yet so far.....

Alwye~
Sharing that beautiful light with us all ...
she is a wonder.
So glad you enjoyed.

ButterfliesDC~
She's something else, huh?
And yes ... no matter how far away,
she covers us all in her light.
As if she isn't pretty enough alone,
she goes and places stars in her hair.
Awesome !

Balladeer~
LOL !  LOL !
You have given me beautiful odes ...
so what's a little moonlight between friends?
LOL !
Helmut will be pleased to see your ire !
Got me laughing my Balladeer.
Love you just the same ...
go look at the moon and I'll share with you too.
You just look green with envy !
Oh, stop it ..... you've got my sides splitting with laughter.

it wrote itself.

I know I'm late and shame on me
overlooking such good poetry
Such lovely piece of moon we share
And on the other sits Balladeer please be aware
Meanwhile I thank thee for the dedication
And here I stand sending ovation
Thank you dear from within my heart
For this poem in beauty and art
Hugs and Love

Hi there... my first reply ever to a poem in Passionate Forums... been wandering around thinking about your poem for a bit, letting it remind me of my own nighttime frolics warmed by the friendly moonglow... thank you for bringing that through a well formatted poem... I enjoyed the personification of Moonglow as a benevolent lady of love with a golden heart... I'd love to see more images of how you picture her...
Look forward to reading more of your work.

It truly is just 'inspired' on the moment.
Thank you so much for letting me know you
like it.

Oh, thank you, hon.

Martie~
LOL @ your 'moony self' !
I figured you must have fallen asleep
watching the sunset ... and missed the
glorious moon on the rise !
Thanks, friend.

David BK~
My pleasure at being your first reply.
I greatly appreciate your comments.
Scattered through the pages of
Open Forum #6, Open 5 and maybe even
Open #4 you will find poetic references
to the majestry of her mooness.
Thank you so much.

nicely written Marge ... how do you manage to keep quality so high with the obvious ease with which you write ... do you have an enchanted quill ?

David2~
You glow with your compliments.
I thank you.

Rex~
Gosh, what a wonderful thing to say!
I guess I'd have to say that I feel
the words I pen are just like talking
to someone .. and I like to believe
that I have a 'quality' that is sincere
and would hope that's what you see.

I'll take that 'enchanted quill'
and put it to good use.
