A sudden shaft of light
pierces the sky, rising to the heavens.
Color of fire, heating the darkened morn.

I wonder, what lies at the end?

The crisp March air, clouds of blue-black
floating on a desolate pond of sky.
Now parted by the orange glow of the sun,
  slowly rising over the trees,
sculpting the edges into soft cotton candy.

My heart burns for you.

Such Passion...Such Fire.  I enjoy sunrises, in the sky and in the heart. Wonderful imagery.
