A sudden shaft of light pierces the sky, rising to the heavens. Color of fire, heating the darkened morn. I wonder, what lies at the end? The crisp March air, clouds of blue-black floating on a desolate pond of sky. Now parted by the orange glow of the sun, slowly rising over the trees, sculpting the edges into soft cotton candy. My heart burns for you. |

Geesh, after reading this, I feel like saying, "Hi, my name is smoldering ashes, nice to meet you." LOL This is beautiful, how you captured the fire of a new love...You're very lucky ! Welcome to Passions by the way! Very nice poem! |
