Genetics Knell Dwindling the shadows fell, Deepening the Zinfandel. Painting brindle on the wall, A mantilla's lacy shawl. Behind the fan her eyes aglow, Her bosom rose each breath in show. And the ecstasy smoked my eyes. And crossed my face in lusty sly. I spoke to her in lovers muse, Little things of little views. Attempting in a subtle way, To touch her heart in secret play. The acid of her beauty ran, Across the gentle moving fan. And ate into the soul of me, With golden shards of filigree. And I was caught genetics knell, A victim of hormonal dwell. |

Sy Sy Sy that vocab is getting WAY out of control! What an explorative poem this is - I did enjoy, I did. Well done as usual. ![]() 'Writing sharpens life; life enriches writing' Sylvia Plath |

Rainbow, You do have a way with comments. *L* Serenity, You always add a little bit of serenity to your comments. *L* Severn, You really think so? Thank you. *L* Balladeer, It was a little bit of both, nice comment. |

Sy, Rainbow thiks that filigree Is something really great to see Serenity knows very well The smell was from the Zinfandel Kamla says your Poem gives A hint of the "explorative" She thinks the poet as a whole Is getting way out of control And Balladeer's lusty reply Is badgering the lusty Sy He thinks the "lusty sly" you sung Was a lusty sly slip of the tongue And Nan dwells on "hormonal dwell" And she knows poetry very well And so I sit here on the brink And I just don't know what to think I think that your hormonal well Is laden with hormonal dwell You're gettimg quite explorative The more sly lusty words you give And we are in hormonal dwell Still reeling from the Zinfendel So Sy, I don't know what to say I hope you have a lusty day Loved the poem Love ya Liz |

Nan, I love cake with my ZIN. *L* Sy Elizabeth, I am overwhelmed by your poem. You have such a quick mind, It often blinds. I trust the touch of wonderlust, The upthrust of its windy gust, Did not disturb the birds and bees. Or add weight to some whiffletree. Love Sy Mistikman, By all means check with the dictionary, Thank you for the comment. Meadow, Drink helps feed the fires of Zin. *L* Martie, I love you dearly. Thank you Sy |
