state of confusion

If only I could be with you now,
for this love, so clear, so strong,
I’d spend every passing moment,
in the place where I belong.

Within your arms of shelter,
just listening to your song,
the one that always calls to me
even when I feel so alone.

You never let me turn away,
as if I would ever want to,
in that quiet and gentle voice,
repeating the words “I love you.”

I love you, too.

Corinne

Your last few poems are beckoning to romance...so anything we should know about? Come on do tell....

Corinne~
I like !
Sung so softly.
You hum a sweet tune.
Sounds like a duet is strumming.

Within your arms of shelter,
just listening to your song,
the one that always calls to me
even when I feel so alone

.... repeating the words “I love you.”

True love can come in strange ways,
from somewhere the heart does not expect,
and a true love, loves to whisper them to our heart.
You are quite the poet Corinne, and this poem whispers to my lonely heart, sweet Corinne.

this is such a sweet poem, yet i feel a sense of lonliness in it... bittersweet feelings, wonderfully done!
