Momma though I may be small My heart is so big Because of the love you give But that’s not it least of all You make me feel warm and dry, Food when I’m hungry Drink when I’m thirsty Or hold me when I need to cry I know I wear you out Because you work so hard Then chase me through the yard I love you without a doubt I’m sorry you don’t sleep right now But I’ll make it up to you A smile when you’re feeling blue I’ll find a way somehow And when I’m all grown up and gone I know I’ll love my own baby right Like letting her hold my finger in the night That way, your love for me will live on I really don’t mean to make you mad I hope my love you plainly see, Because everything you do is for me And still take time to care for Dad (A little light one from me...LOL) |
