Day after day, night after night falling into the void Somewhere between living and dying A decision, a thought, somehow I had toyed With a choice of laughing or crying My ideas somehow divide me and are flawed And I have to somehow endure Being ripped apart and beaten raw Leaving me broken and impure My feelings are inconsequential and betray And are good for nothing But only to get in the way Yet at least I am something Sometimes I feel the need to lose my mind When I’ve lost that need I’ve lost it all And I know it’s just a matter of time So I delay, hoping to stall But the thing that kills me most Is the reality slowly setting in, That who I once was is now a ghost, Playing a game with no chance to win |

Sometimes I feel the need to lose my mind When I’ve lost that need I’ve lost it all And I know it’s just a matter of time So I delay, hoping to stall But the thing that kills me most Is the reality slowly setting in, That who I once was is now a ghost, Playing a game with no chance to win -------------- once again the word deep comes to mind...and your mind is full of depth and your pen expresses it SO well... always play to win... stalking you always, your jm |
