I was drifting along on the currents of a misdirected breeze following a daydream with inward turned eyes with the softly warm daylight passing me by I never knew where I should be Amidst my careless path there you stood as I started to pass and you saw in my that which I would not drawing me in an silken gossamer strands bringing me into the fold of your love There came a purpose I saw myself beside you, no longer drifting With the softness of you touch, your eyes you showed me that I was important that I was worth being loved Within myself, there something stirred a realization of what you percieved the strength imbued by your attentions made me learn to trust in another as we blended into one Lost I came to you lost is where I would have remained but within our love I've found myself and now that we are together we will never be lost again A real man kisses his children goodnight |

I know a little something about those misdirected breezes. Excellent poetry, James, and a fine tribute to a special person. |

James~ No wonder she cried! It is simply beautiful. 'you showed me that I was important that I was worth being loved' What a difference we see in ourselves when we look through someone else's eyes. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
