She is missing him... More often he finds his way into her thoughts Gazing at his picture her eyes relish in their venture trailing across the two dimentional image... She plucks the photo from the shelf the glossy surface winking softly in the light as she holds the frame close memorizing what is known and held in herheart.. Thick wavy locks... groomed and perfected moonlight eyes darkened with endless allure their color envied by the night lips curved into a devastating smile her heart trips for endless moments as she imagines those lips lingering above hers his breath teasing warmth upon her lips she can almost taste him and yearns to be kissed by the desire that consumes her... She clutches the frame to her breast holding him close her heart beating wildly against his glass covered cheek His image burns upon her skin as he gazes out from the glass enclosure smiling eyes sparkle with devilish intent whispering of thoughts unknown a mystery captured and imprisoned forever upon a single slip of paper... |

Breathe~ I think your heart just spoke, because I heard it whisper. Sensually romantic. This is really good. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

breathe: this is beautiful and yet somewhat melancholy... it reminds me of a song that i really like by The Cure called "Pictures of You"... i guess this idea hits me so hard because i am so far away from my lover... sometimes all i have are pictures... i think you do a magnificent job here of first arousing the sensual and then giving rise to the sorrowful (though perhaps sorrowful only for those who, like me, have some experience with this)... sincerely, jerome the boy with no brain A savage place! as holy and enchanted As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted By woman wailing for her demon-lover! ~Coleridge |

Great poem, I dont think there is anything I can really do but echo everyone else here Keep up the good work. I am not a poet, I am merely one who speaks in emotion |

Great Poem Breathe... I think your imagery is brilliant, this is easily the best illustration i've read for a long time. Photos An image is eternal and yet it isn't real- The colour hides beneath a pane, a dream, in timeless space. |
