Left one is Pepper...she sends her regards
Our reader extraordinaire.
No meeting of poets could be quite complete
If our sweetheart Pepper's not there.

Next one is Sy...he's one hell of a guy
Writes poignant verse that enthralls
Talent abundant...he painted the pictures
You see there behind on the walls.

The one in the middle is ole Balladeer
Lucky to be in between
Such talented people you see on both sides
And blessed to be part of this scene.

Franni comes next...she is posting at last
Writes words of verse pure and clear.
When she's not writing she's got her hands full
By caring for ole Balladeer.

Elizabeth Santos, last but not least
A poet I truly admire.
When my heart is warmed with a poetic glow
Elizabeth S. is the fire.

We wish you all greetings from Florida's shore
A night filled with good will and cheer.
The only thing lacking from this perfect night
Is wishing you all could be here.....

I had the immense pleasure of talking to two of those lovely ladies yesterday... and I'm so glad you've had such a wonderful time!!! You know the only thing that keeps me from being jealous is that meeting with my heart I had last week. *S*
My beautiful, delightful Pepper... Seymour of the infinite talents... dear Balladeer... Franni who's at last sharing her wonderful poetry... and the traveler whose insightful poems made her feel like a friend before I actually had the right to claim friendship... You are all as lovely as your words!!!

Hey! Nice to actually see faces!  I think we should do a Canadian picture and both of us (or is it 3 well how ever many) We will all stand in 6 feet of snow and wear are parkas while petting our Huskies!

GREAT PIC

I guess that I am Justin Thyme
to tell you all I love your rhyme
and that I also love the eyes
of Pepper; reading Pepperwise.
Although you may not know my name
I watch you all through post and fame
and realize you are the cream
of Passions crop; a poet's dream.

I wish that I could meet you, though,
you would not recognize me, so,
I'll simply say I wish I were
enraptured by this Florida stir!
Thank you, dear poets, all of you,
for being there, so sure and true!
I wish that I could be so wise
to toss forever this disguise.

And if I did, I would be there,
to tell you that I so much care
for each and every one of you!
Your words have made my life less blue.
Next Thyme I'm lost, without a mouth,
I'll dream I was in Florida, south,
with memories of how you rhyme.
Until then... I am Justin Thyme...

To tell you that I hope we meet
some Thyme while I'm out on the street.

Thank you Sy and Isabel
For treating us so very well
The food was great and as you see
We all enjoyed the company

Funny verse by Balladeer
Had us laughing into tears
Sy showed us his works of art
And read some poems right from the heart

Franni's warmth and smiling face
Added warmth and gentle grace
Pepper's Brent loves fine cuisine
And wined and dined just like a king

This was poet's last hurrah
Ft. Lauderdale in Florida
Friends and poets never fear
We'll do this thing again next year

As I sit here recuperating, I chance upon a view of people I have come to know a bit, and admire a lot, with the exception of Franni, who I intend to get to know through her words of poetry as soon as I can!

Thank you Balladeer, for sharing the smiles of all.

A fine poem, Balladeer, and what a handsome group of folks! It's great to see you all!

Glad to see that my picture didn't "really" break Passions' camera!
