SpillingAh, dreams, do not find me. Move away from the sheer slips surrounding, breathing, near to billowing in my moonlight sleep. As if in lingering, on the street beneath the lamppost's glow, my lips spilling soft whispers into your awakened ear. Your eyes, set deep, ablaze with hazel flames, speak to me with whispers of their own... not so softly. Claire [This message has been edited by Meadowmuse (edited 03-12-2000).] |

You do have a way to bring words to life. "Your eyes set deep, ablaze with hazel flames," I'm colorblind, but reading this, makes me wish my eyes were hazel. Beautiful work. |

...and you do, so often, say the nicest things, Mike. Thank you for reading this. (and I'm curious...even though you are colour blind, your eyes must still have a colour, yes? What colour are they?) |

Claire~ Lovely. I've also gazed into those eyes ... heard the whispers through your sighs. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Dear Claire, Your poetry is always so beautifully fluent and soothing to read. I liked this poem very much. From poeminister "...no single sound too rude Upon thy slumber shall intrude, Our thoughts, our souls- O God above! In every deed shall mingle, love." --Edgar Allan Poe (from Serenade) |

I do so love... the way you whisper Claire this is lovely. take care, jm Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be jackson browne |
