I raise my eyes, meet the maker and bow feel the heat licking my sweat unfold the touch of power through my face and ride the wind with wavy hair light, blue, red, yellow scents carried through the world by silky fingers the fairies , muses, divine feminity who rides the wind and kisses the traveller walk upon the ground, and leave a trace a soul lives in every footprint that marks the path a little bit of past, and future lies with every step to where you go, might your mind not know yet the prints point towards an end. I cast my senses to the forest and fish the impressions I am here, and I am out there Some day ill pay back, ill build a nest or walk a dessert raise your eyes and meet the sun walk the path and meet your life ride illusions, weave beauty into your mind and say thank you to whoever is dreaming this Earth and waking up to see us die... |

I have read many, many poems in my day, and suffice it to say, I must sincerely confess, THIS one has to be one of the very best. |

Eagle, thanks man, you make me blush. Just the fact that you liked it is enough justification for that poem to exist; devine thanks for the welcome (again), ill stick around longer and see what beauty i can fish around this forum (its usually an extensive catch around here) |

Well, Ixtab~ 'I cast my senses to the forest and fish the impressions' You have baited the hook with this one. I'm quite impressed. I glanced at your profile ... I do hope you post more. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Awesome! Excellent! The same line that caught Marge's eye caught mine also - one of those ones I want all to myself! lol 'Writing sharpens life; life enriches writing' Sylvia Plath |

great poem! especially the part: "walk the path and meet your life/ride illusions, weave beauty into your mind" a true poet at heart i can tell with these illusionary words... makes me feel i want to really meet my life and what lays ahead. i can't express more how great this poem is! wonderfully done!!! |
