A muse of joy |

A muse of joy Whispers floated across the room, Silhouettes danced the wall in loom. And music filled the in between As colors crowned the perfect scene. Echoes wondered into the street, The sun was down and in retreat. I wondered through the needles eye, Underneath a consummate sky. The birds flew in a southward trend, And disappeared around the bend. The ambience was sweet in smells, That rode and held the evening bells. And I was checked in magics glare, Gone, yet held in an awesome stare. Invented by a ponders bliss, Thrust by thoughts of a stolen kiss. The kiss and bliss were fancies find. Imagined in my censored mind. And jubilation set my face, As the ecstasy left its trace. It was a weavers wile of joy, A fragile muse, a lovers ploy. |

A "weavers wile of joy" indeed Need only to water its magic seed, And breathe as finely fragrant hue Colours the mind with fantasy's dew. Seymour, your poem coloured my mind. ~ Claire |

Seymour~ 'And jubilation set my face, As the ecstasy left its trace.' Now THAT is a joyful muse who could leave such a smile. Your muse compliments you well. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Oh Sy - you know I have just run out of things to say about how I feel about your poetry...(you are my favourite structured verse poet - you and Lizzy both - you know that right?) so I just have to say... wow. Will that suffice? K 'Writing sharpens life; life enriches writing' Sylvia Plath |
