On this cool crisp morning there is a mist rising from the forest floor as the orb crests the mountains. It’s tendrils slink down through the tall white pines ,reaching out and caressing everything in its path. As the mist shrinks away, the forest floor comes alive and tiny flowers are awaken by the visitor. When it reaches me it cups my face, I close my eyes and surrender to its warmth. It is at this moment I know I have been kissed by the sun. |
