Ladies night out And we are all dressed to kill With tight fitting suits And platforms for heels Natural eyecatchers As we enter the club Strobelights reflect off our bodies Like we are mirror hotties Women stare into us And wish to see themselves Gentlemen attracted to us Like a magnetic strip The attention won't cease We look good and they feel good From the kinetic energy that we release Center floor dancing As we put on a show Gyrating to the beat Enticing with our rhythmic motions Making everbody want to dance Laughing the night away Recapturing our youth Occasional split-ups But we still remain aloof When the party is over We reconnect again To exit the club Wishing our fun would never end MYSTERY |

This past friday, myself and a few of my friend went out for a night in town. Occasionally we all get together and hang out for old times sake. This friday was different then most. We all looked extrememly beautiful and our attitudes showed. We possessed a glow that lit up the room and the attention we received proved that we were stars in the eyes of the beholders. Friday night inspired me to write this poem, and I want to dedicate it to my close friends, who were with me to share the moment. Ii hope you enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed celebrating it. |

Mystery, Thank you firstly for reading my first poem, it was greatly appreciated. My response to this poem is SELF-ESTEEM. Desn't it feel good to look good and have a good time with the people you care about? Not mention, I always feel better when I have a night out on the town!!!! |
