Dreaming of a Future

When the sun goes down
And the moon comes up
I feel a sense of goodbye.
All the world has turned around
right before my eyes.
Complication fulfills a dream for life
while it occurs to be so simplistic.

The flowers are budding
As the dark clouds disappear
Our future has brightned for another year,
But what will happen when the flowers
Die and the clouds turn into a shadowy black tear
All the expectations for the future
Will turn back to a desirable dream.

I love this poem because at one point in my life, I was very confused about the future and what was to come out of it. So I can relate to your feelings. My comment for this poem is when the flowers die and clouds turn black, this is just a slow point in our lives or a turning point. When things die out, they always blossom better than the first time before, look forward to these times, for they are times to learn from.
