~ Oh to feel the Passion ~ Oh to feel the passion in the wind of sultry breeze basking in a brand new sun To my chest I draw my knees lay my head on them to rest as I close my eyes & sigh breathing deep the air of you & me and smiling to the sky... Oh to feel the passion in the wind of sultry breeze To be tossed upon the waves to be sailing on the seas... Lay my head upon the sand as I close my eyes & sigh breathing deep the air of yesterday my dreams go flitting by... Oh to feel the passion in the sultry breeze of you I have yet to kiss your smile I have yet to know it's true... Lay my head upon your whisper as I close my eyes to dream breathing deep - the scent of love All my faith, you do redeem. March 5, 2000 |

Great read. Your passion rang loud and clear and I could hear the sound of that ocean. But most of all I like that you lay your head upon his whisper. Wow that one line made the whole poem form me. For me everythinfg else in the poem was there to take me to that line. Thanks for posting. Death makes angels of us all and gives us wings where we had shoulders smooth as raven claws Jim Morrison |

i can't quite put my finger on it, but this one really speaks to me. I feel the words and the atmosphere, very sensual and calming at the same time. Wonderful lines...every single one. |

I like this one too!! In fact if I was to choose between this and the last one, this one would win (just). I think it's the knee and chest bit that swung it. ![]() Craig Yes, I admit your general rule. That every poet is a fool: But I myself may serve to show it. That every fool is not a poet. |

Okay, pFF... I'm of the female gender, so unlike the replies of Mr. Danny and the other masculine poets, my view on this writing are from a way different perspective... THANK GOODNESS, RIGHT? This was a great poem, enjoyed the repitition of the 'sultry breeze' thing, and the line that 'got me' was the one where you pull your knees into your chest and lay your head to rest... I SOOOOOO relate to this poem, and often find myself absorbing all of nature's passions...allowing for a clearer conscience and more tangible thoughts on that special person... Wow! You do have a way of writing exactly what so many of us have felt. Thanks! ![]() |
