A little help Some of my friends tell me I'm going after the wrong woman again. How can friends see where we're blind? They say somehow I always pick the wrong kind to be a romantic friend. They could be right cause another bad love connnection just got off my line. Still they cannot answer this question that keeps popping up in my mind. Is there a right woman out there for me and if so why is she so hard to find? And my friends have told me I always try way to hard. I should just be myself and let it happen on its own accord. Still if my baby is around can you do me a favor and look me up cause I'm having the hardest time finding you I'm running out of luck. I'll tell you quite honestly it seems to be taking forever for the two of us to get together. If you could just give me a little help I would appreciate that friendly endeavor so feel free to begin and do it soon cause I can't wait forever. I've probably been searching for you way to frantically anyway. My friends say my silly spill and over blown zeal is probably scaring everyone away. So I hope you don't mind if I listen to my friends just this one time. Now this doesn't mean I don't like you or that I don't really care it only means I'm stepping back a ways to let you do your share. If you don't mind could you begin with a kiss and a hug and we'll both go on from there If I could see A little love in your eyes I promise I'll do my share. Thank you Denise. I found myself trying too hard again today. Its easy to write about but hard to put into practice. If the girl would chase me I wouldn't have to make such a fool of myself. (laugh) James |

James, that was a great poem. I think that we all may try to hard to find the one, some more then others. But that is just showing how much love you have to give, and once you find the girl, I'm sure she'll be lucky to have finally found you. |

I appreciate that Anthony. Sometimes its hard to hold your feelings back...and yet we will meet very few that will feel the same exact way about us so I admit I'm a little to forward and hopefully I'll learn to balance my response. Thank you Sam for reading and commenting. I'm glad you sensed the playfulness of this...and yet I am very serious also. Thank you Severn for your nice comment. If some of you lovely women were my next door neighbor you would never be lonely....unless I was the wrong guy. (laugh) |

James, you're doing a wonderful job of reflection, here. Sometimes love has a subtle touch, you just have to listen carefully to what your feelings tell you. ~ Claire |

Thanks Meadowmuse. I thought you said sometimes love has a soft touch (laugh) Remember the song I need a lover with a soft touch...just a little bit of karaoke reflecting. (laugh) But of course you said subtle..which would be not open or direct. Actually my feelings are telling me I need a close friendship right now and I am looking for that connection. From the friendship I am hoping that love will blossom and grow just like a beautiful rose. Just another fe do you have another name we could call you by...you know like Julie or Susie. Please don't be offended by this. I respect your privacy. I am truly hoping that my dreams will be both clarified and realized as time goes by. Thank you so much for your understanding heart. James this was a very open and emotional poem, it reflects honesty, which is hard to come by these days, I like a person who is open and true, at least you really know them and they aren't hiding anything from you, they just lay it on the line. I wish and hope you the best in your endeavor of finding your true north, your soulmate...Goodluck...in the meantime I will continue to enjoy your heartfelt poetry! Thank you butterflies...you have a way to brighten up my day. Romantic heart it is my desire to be honest and open...sometimes the women I talk to don't share that opinion..they are reserved..in your case you are also honest and open...its refreshing. Marina I have been trying not to look and I hope you are right. Thank you, James |
