Pretty scary when this is all I remember from six years of french classes. Will this fractured conscience ever speak? Ha, not for at least a week. Je ne parle pas day or night. Je ne parle pas at the traffic light. Je ne parle pas when I'm feeling all right. Je ne parle pas at all. The poet was disconnected from his host. The poet doesn't believe in lonely ghosts. The poet doesn't care what matters most. Some days are like an eerie calm. Some nights are like reading palms. A few of both are like planting bombs. Nous ne desirons pas parler. |
