Inspired by Hoot-Owl's Poem, Death of a poet < !signature-->Death of Chevalier Throughout my live, I could not see That live was meant for me I swore the oath to protected all thee Never did I thought about me Was blind along the craving lane Soaring fights, so lame Missed so much I could have had Lost in thoughts, never mad Hollow voices call out for me Silence now, I lie there for thee Moments risen out from rivers of Hades pool A crying sound surrounds this fool Once, a light flickering way up there Now, no glimmer left to bear I look up and use this heavy heart Glorious once, so was my art Dreams are shattered into the core Nothing left of what I once swore Horizons ahead dark, I cannot see clear My eyes broken, dull they shine so near Lonely the death of the chevalier His sword once held up to fight Crushed in his lonely heart that night He served and protected his Queen A dying chorus ode is within Honor and Glory a fool's game past His sword rusting, will never last No soul cast it's eyes to him out there This is the lonely death of the chevalier Form heaven scrolls down a sword like leer Taking the soul away of the dead chevalier The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. This was utterly enchanting Helmut...I love the theme you got here...a knight is always romantic, no matter the subject...this is definantly one of my favorites dear man!!!! Open arms can be the most fragile in the world... |
