The Kiss ******** a touch-- light and feathery soft your figertips to my lips as you silence me... a caress-- hesitant yet skillful your finger under my chin as you lean closer... a gaze-- long and lingering your eyes into mine as you search for an answer... a kiss-- gentle as a summer rain your lips to mine as I close my eyes... a rhythm-- quick and pounding my heartbeat into yours as they dance together... an emotion-- desire and anticipation your arms around my body as we melt into one... a journey-- slow and enjoyable your heart open to mine as I bare my soul to you... a ringing-- alarming and annoying sunlight in my window as I pry opem my eyes a dream-- it was all a dream a journey interrupted a sigh escapes me as I greet the new day it was nothing but a fantasy... |

Too bad it was all a dream, I was starting to enjoy it myself. Wish I had dreams like that. I love the structure of this poem and it oh so makes me want to be kissed! Great read, bobbycat. |

I enjoyed this one very much. The kiss is the best thing in life, not to be rushed, but relished like it was the last time you would ever experience such delight. You captured it so well, and the way you did your lines really added to it. |
