Beginning of Love A new love, like the sun bringing forth, a new someone making each day warm and bright filling everything with radiant light All thats within wanting to give in another life longing to live seeking to know are feelings true endless hours spent lovin you Dwelling in shadows of my mind others before i'm now so blind yearnings to stir deep within me by your side, i'm aching to be Writing for hours, just your name fantasy moments playing love's game thoughts so strong making heart pound images of you now in surround Never before such luminous sky reflections of us in clouds gone by your carresses so tender on me overall in your arms, soft place to fall Love has arrived, finally here cupid and angels starting to cheer down that path my heart doth go that emotional side only love can show A sense of us there from the start so natural us heart to heart onward now our destiny bound Love has begun, let trumpets sound. < !signature--> [This message has been edited by Danny Holloway (edited 03-01-2000).] |

Danny~ Wonderful soft images you've painted with these words. 'in your arms, soft place to fall' Reminds me of someone special. Thanks for shaking the memory tree. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Writing for hours, just your name fantasy moments playing love's game thoughts so strong making heart pound images of you now in surround Never before such luminous sky reflections of us in clouds gone by your carresses so tender on me overall in your arms, soft place to fall Danny, this is such an emotionally perfect and lovefilled poem, how excellent. so many times "love poems" come out "sappy". this one is full of devotion and romance..very well expressed! take care, janet marie Now for me some words come easy But I know that they don't mean that much Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch You never knew what I loved in you I don't know what you loved in me Maybe the picture of somebody you were hoping I might be... Jackson Browne *I miss you baby... I love you...always. |

I cannot stomach to read love poetry. Like JM said, they sound "sappy" too often. However, I could read this one over and over again. It almost brought a smile to my face and it definitely let warm feelings into my soul. Makes me want to do it again... Almost. When I say that, I know it was an amazing poem. |

Just a note to say thanks to all for such nice responses. Like most of you, I find many love poems sappy as well. I chose to post this one because I felt it had a different feeling that went beyond the usual stuff. Thanks again to all.... |
