~Butterflies Are Meant To Be Free~

How do I tell you-what your love has come to mean-to me...
How do I let go of you, when its time...the way you need to be.
How do I make you realize the beauty in you...that my heart sees,
How do I truly return your love...if only by now accepting...
Butterflies are meant to be free.

I cannot deny...my heart is breaking,
I cannot say...that I'm not shaken.
I will not promise-that I wont cry...
but-I do love you enough to open my heart...and let you fly...

With in these moments shared, you've given me trust and love-unconditionally,
I have grown so much in the light of your love... I have finally,now-found...me,
Your love, and all your hearts gifts-have made me stronger, helping me to believe...
I truly do now... understand and accept...just like you...
Butterflies are meant to be free...

Janet Marie

dedicated to my beautiful butterfly...I know you fly free now baby...I love you..always

**REPOST from Corner Pub

...there are places inside all our souls...
that have never been touched...
there are places inside our hearts...
that need to be loved this much...
Janet Marie

*I miss you baby...
I love you, always.*

Sometimes a little distance between two people make`s the love they share even stronger.
If it doesn`t,then chances are it wasn`t meant to be.
I hope your "Butterfly" come`s back.
Nicely worded Janet

~Janet...

And still YOU continue to amaze me with your work. I am humbled  ... in this poem you submitted beautiful imagery, heartfelt emotion, and fantastic flow of words. You have my respect both as a writer and as a person. Great poem!

P.S. Whomever this person is, is as lucky to have you as you are to have them!

Janet Marie~
Setting one free to fly takes great courage.
If it's meant to be ... so be it.
Butterflies flutter in and out of our hearts.
Watching yours spread his wings is
a special thing.
Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful tribute to letting go.  It is a hard thing to do, to let someone fly.  Lovely and sad work, I enjoyed this very much.

Janet this is beautiful! I feel redundant when I reply to your work. I just can't find the words sufficient enough to express.

There it is, the words I needed to hear tonight.  My own pain reflects crystal clear in this stanza.

Beautiful, beautiful poem, Janet...

Your poem so true its speaks to me
I hope that butterflys always will be free
Very nice poem

The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Janet Marie, this piece reads as if it were inscribed upon my own heart today. What better symbol of love given freely than the butterfly? Within the giving lies the honor, as well as the pain, of unselfish love. Excellent writing here.

It's difficult to let free something beautiful in your life, but that's the way it must be.
