Where Eagles Fly ~Marge Tindal~ 2000 There is a place where Eagles fly, their wings majestically spread. High above the clouds, soaring the sky overhead. They hunt with a hunger, eyes keenly watching for prey. They suddenly swoop earthward, to feed another day. The Eagle in all his wonder, is a survivor for all to behold. He'll take what he needs when he needs it ... that's the story that's been told. Defender of those who are in need. Surveyor of the land and the sea. I'm glad to have the Eagle watching over me. *Special thanks to Helmut Becker for inspiration. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

I'd really love to see that one day....it must be a beautiful sight from the sounds of your lovely poem! Denise And slight is the sting of his trouble Whose winnings are less than his worth; For he who is honest is noble, Whatever his fortunes or birth.~~~Alice Cary, ~Nobility~ |

Denise - The eagle flying and searching is simply awesome. I hope you can see it one day. Nate- How interestiing ... well, I can tell you that inspiration is about 80% of my writing. Someone ... someplace ... something ... stirs the inkwell and poof ! The muses start their magic. As I read your works ... I see the inspiration coming from the people you see and write about. Right on ..... or write on ! LOL ! Thanks, guy ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

The eagle shall soar for you evermore in glamerous flighing splendor I love this poem so a flight I'll aim But i'm sad, for I must on the ground remain The only way for me to dream I read again the poem there on the screen Thanks Marge, I like it very much The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |

Your spirit is forever strong and here is where the eagle does belong each day they are put to the test as you look to the sky see an eagle flying high standing still you listened to the eagle's song feeling as one you knew something was wrong you closed your eyes and listened to the eagle's cries not knowing the eagle's mate was on the ground as she slowly dies nothing left to do majestically spreading wings you soar off into the blue.. HUSG< !signature--> Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.
