Tumbled from a cloud
rolled over and over
and out of it's nest,
floats to the earth,
in so much dark yet
illuminous.

Landed in a tree,
top of a hill,
in colorful dreams
of soaring,
slept into the morning,
until something broke the chill.

Snowflake, special
different from all the rest,
and when you love what your doing
that's when you'll do your best,
with Gods help we can pass any test.

With just enough light to see
it listens to a distant sound,
and caught a glimpse of the ocean
before the sun helped it to the ground.

Now a drop, it stumbled
into a swift moving stream
like a tobogan,flume,rollercoaster,
such an ultimate adventure,
one wild and crazy screaming stream.

Snowflake, special different
from all of the rest
and when you love what you're doing
that's when you'll do your best,
then let God take care of the rest.

It slowly flows into a river,
wide ,slow, bold and free,
heard so much about the ocean,
learned so much, met so many,
there's so much love in the sea.

EARTHMAN

I like it, Earthman.... I don't like the aftermath of a snowstorm.... but the snowflakes one at a time are pretty awesome.....

Yep, snowflakes can be the most beautiful specimens!  I remember some time ago, I sat outside as the snow gently fell from the sky...the flakes were so large that you could see every detail in them.  It was simply breathtaking!  Thank you for the memory.

Yes, each one is different, no two are the same
And only one God, no matter the name

This is lovely, Paul, and crystal snowflakes are one of my favorite things in the whole world

I always like to look at each snowflake as they hit the windows, you could see each one and its individiuality!

We are finally getting some snow
here in New England.
The weather outside is frightful
although the bank book could get delightful
time to plow, time to plow, time to plow.

Paul this was wonderful!

Hundreds of those snowflakes
Falling to the ground
Each holds it's own beauty
Not another like it around

Each one uniquely different
Like the love in each of us
Each one is gently falling
And renews beauty with its touch

Not the best, but hey that's what ya get from the top of my head, you inspired me!
