Laughing in a meadow On a warm summer day. Picking field daisies, Making wild bouquets. Walking hand in hand Basking in the sun. Stirring up the grasses, Setting butterflies on the run. Catching little ladybugs, Counting all their spots. "Look at this on Baby, This one sure has lots." Listening to the pine needles Crunch beneath our feet, As we reach the timberline. This picnic is such a treat. Some crackers and some cheese, A bottle of vintage wine. A gentle breeze a-dancing On a day that's so divine. A soft and gentle touch, A gaze, a loving kiss. A whispered "I love you" A wonderful day this is. We laugh and act like children On a day oh so sublime. A day of love to add to others. A day of whimsy and of wine. ROFL at Paul's response. Wildchild...I love the simplicity of feelings in this one...almost reminded me of puppy love. It brought a nice rush of warm memories. Well done |

The snow is falling but do I care I have your poem that I can share A dream perhaps at this time of year But you brought me back to summer dear It flows with gentle touch Yes I do love this poem "Thank you so much" The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. |
