Colors of February The month of February is divine For everything is colored shades of red My heart is colored red of valentine He whispered to this lonely heart of mine I memorized the loving words he said "The month of February is divine" To prove his love he sent this lovely line With single velvet rose of crimson red "My heart is colored red of valentine" He whispered as he sipped my glass of wine And laid a velvet rose across my bed "The month of February is divine" But when he left the sun would cease to shine I couldn't forget the haunting words he said "My heart is colored red of valentine" Though many years have slowly passed in time I still recall the rose of crimson red The month of February is divine My heart is colored red of valentine Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 01-10-2000).] |
