Diversity

What’s trash to some might just my treasure be
It takes all kinds to make this world go ‘round
There’s room for all to blend in harmony
A song with just one note’s a boring sound.

A canvas splashed with many splendid hues
Diversity adds such a zest to life
Just think of all the beauty we would lose
If palettes but with monotones were rife.

The structure of a verse sings sweet its song
On me it has a powerful effect
Yet verses free so gently float along
They’d cause a butterfly to genuflect.

'Though not the same they share a common goal
…Portraying for the world what’s in the soul.

Wise words Denise and beautiful poetry.

In the dew of little things,
the heart finds its morning
and is refreshed.

I agree that diversity is what makes this world a place to live and enjoy...
Imagine what it would be like...
If we all were boy!
Good Job!

Amen! Spoke my mind with this one, Denise!

Excellent - being addicted to FV - I find it really refreshing to come to my second home and read the lives of my friends through sonnets and sestinas and villanelles and lovely structured verse.

Kamla, dear
Speaking of structured verse......
Do I have to say it again?

Great thoughts, well spoke, Denise. Personally I think we should all be the same, only different.
