LET US GROW OLD TOGETHER

These streets of broken glass.
wherein lifelong have I.
Been walking on these bleeding feet's.

These moments of shattered dream.
Only dream that ages pass have I.
Been one filled with, oh! such heartache.

Yesterday,
Like a candle in the dark.
You came and fill my life with sunshine.
Like an oasis in the desert.
You quenched my thirst with your love.

Today,
Living has become a joy of much hope.
Simply to treasure every moment spent.
Whispers of sweet nothing and love bites.
Warm hugs and lullaby and cares and contentment.

Tomorrow,
The stars will shine down down upon us.
And in each others arm pledge we will.
That we will grow old together.....
Forever and a day, in the warmth of our love.
