I stood alone on your shore's edge. Waiting. Wanting for you to pull me into your depths. Many moons have passed. Tides high, Tides low. Still I wait Alone. Your waters touched me, teased me, took advantage of my gentle presence. I consoled your troubled waters. Embraced your fury. But on your shore's edge, I stood alone. |

What a lovely, sad poem! I feel very close ties to the sea and love the feel of this, plus the underlying, hidden meanings as well. Corinne |

I enjoyed your analogy between the sea and the relationship..being taken for granted or left alone is very much like standing on the shore...just on the edge...but close enough to feel the ocean's breath. Claire |
