If I have but a day Let me spend it with those I love Memorizing faces Visiting places That dry the tears with smiles. If there's only an hour Let me hold your hand Try to understand The miracle that graced my life When I met you. And if my time is over I pray that it is you My eyes last see. For if your voice I hear I know I'll have no doubt That heaven's near. |

wow, I would say that the last 3 lines are killer, but then I go back and reread, and I just love the whole thing.....very beautiful, and yep as RG says even more so, because you can be assured that you mean every word of it |
