One day, before a night, of everlast Two alone, then two together, in God's mass Each with words of their Love Kneeling together while bonding from above Each moment forward will be as two Nothing can break this if their true In one week, one year, & even centuries A love can blossom beyond it's memories Everyday, in everyway, is it's way Love beyond the words that you say This is far, far from any end but only a place & only when < !signature--> [This message has been edited by Bojopy (edited 01-14-2000).] |

Well I think this is simply beautiful! You have meditated on something that a lot more people ought to think on before they say I do. I think you have very deep thoughts as most poets do, and you expressed it so well! Don't be discouraged about not getting too many responses- a lot of deep stuff don't get many responses because a lot of people don't know how to answer to those deep of thoughts...Very good- keep on writing-ok. I loved it. So tender-so beautiful. So Godly truthful...=Bless you... james david |

I agree with all that dad said....this is a lovely poem, and it means the world to me. I'm a bit old-fashioned I suppose when it comes to marriage. I still see it as something quite sacred - not something to be taken lightly. I guess that's why I'm pushing 30, and have not yet walked down the aisle....*sigh I won't do it until I know deep in my spirit that I have made the right choice of who to spend the rest of my life with. You have expressed many of these deep feelings in this poem. Thank you for sharing... And try not to get frustrated in here, dad is right, is it VERY true that most works of great depth get overlooked, as most don't understand them, and so they're left scratching their heads, wondering how to reply. hehee I've read a few from others that have left me feeling speachless! LOL Try being a bit more active, as far as replying to others too...sometimes you just have to *get out there* and round up fans - - Seriously though, I've found that when I reply to someone else, I'll usually notice they come back & do the same for me...It's like making yourself *known*. Be patient - you will find many who like your work...You do write with deep thought! I applaude that... Gennifer ** I'm reaching for the brightest star I've ever seen - knock my ladder out from under me, and you'll wish you hadn't !! -pFF ** Here's to 2000! |

You did a great job. Its really sad that people don't take marriage as serious as they should. You expressed it well!!! Keep writting!!! |
