It always takes two
Lightening and rain
To create a spectacular thunder

It always takes two
To make a couple
And three to tear it asunder.

It always takes two,
A child and God
To teach an adult to pray.

It always takes two,
Morning and night
To create one whole day.

It always takes two
To start a fight
That then becomes a war.

It always takes two
Any two at all
To know what we're fighting for.

It always takes two
A reader and poet
To put magic in what we write

It always takes two
Just you and me
To do what we think is right.

Very neat, very sweet. This is one poem I will try to remember (in an already over-crowded mind.) But may I gently disagree with only the last stanza -- to do what's right only takes one.
