Sitting in my garden staring at all the tree's watching their branches swaying with the gentle breeze This day is such a glory, with colours oh so bright and the sky is palest blue, not a cloud is in sight I'm sitting in my garden wondering where you are Wondering what you're doing, have you travelled far Far far away, not coming home to me Far far away, across a deep blue sea Pictured in a garden I see a face so blue Pictured in that garden is the face of you You're sitting in your garden staring at the tree's watching their leaves falling with the harshest breeze Your day is such a grey one, the clouds are rolling in A storm is a brewing and your day is oh so grim So sitting in our gardens noone would ever guess That each of us is hurting and our lives are in a mess |

okie, i am new to poetry,so there are a lot of things i don't get it.... why is the day so beautiful for "I" and so grim for "you"? can you kindly explain?? personally, the lines "far far away.... remind me of that song "somewhere out there"--the despair one faces when his loved one is away from him. |
