Hurling into the shower
sobbing until the water ran cold
fury
betrayal
hopelessnees
bouncing off the porcelain walls
returning to coat me
in my accusations
shaking in rage
kneeling on that hard porcelain
wracked by angry images
pelted by tepid water
and cold realities
lava tears burning hatred trails
in violent weeping
till sliding to the floor
in exhausted acceptance
watching the water play
upon defeated fingers
beading and rolling
moisture drops cooling
running in aimless rivers
along the white walls of my skin
steady porcelain rain
a soothing beat upon my back
calming me with wet caresses
surrounding salty remembrance
washing you away...

*Strugles to catch her breath again after the stark realities of this poem.* Oh, I've been there and your poem rings so vividly true. Wonderful writing!
