I TOLD YOU (losing a friend 4 a love)

I told you that I loved him
that much you knew.
You told me that you loved me
and i said " I love you".
It wasn't a lie that was all true
but the way I love him
is different from the way I love you.
You mean the world
but he melts my heart.
It's hard to explain
so I won't even start.
Your afraid that he'll hurt me
so you break my heart.
Your afraid that he'll leave me
so you take a head start.
I told you I loved him
that much you knew.
So i'm asking you this question

Why can't I love him and love you to?

Hmmm, Sounds like the beginning of a triangle. I hope not. I hope #2 loves you back!. Anyway, you say it well. Nicely written

Elizabeth: it's not a love triangle me and #1 were like best friends and he didn't like the guy i chose to be #2. And sometimes i have doubts about #2 loving me back but i honestly think that he does love me.

i totally know how you feel! i feel sometimes like im in that predicament every day! wow!
sometimes its hard to let go of a strong bond for love, especially if it hurts someone....

ya ur right Vix but i guess if they truely asre your friend they will be your friend no matter who you love. This is an old poe but me and him have made up and are friends again not like before but i guess something is better then nothing
