I was walking in the park on day, And much to my surprise. Out jumped a bunch of lunatics, Each one was in disguise. Each had on a name tag, And much to my chagrin. I knew every single name, That was entered in. Marg was doing cartwheels, As Liz was in a pose. Denise had a candlestick, EEEEEWWWWWW She put it up her nose!! Andrew was melting crayons, Painting on Mike's face. Can't say what was painted, Would be deleted in this place. Rex was on the park bench, playing with his wand. Robert stood beside him, Hoping to obscond. Devine was swinging from a tree, Banana in her mouth. Nan was on a higher branch, Trying to fly south. Sea sauntered up to me, And looked me in the eye. Told me she was superman, And she could never die. Chris was eating alphabets, Arranging them in rhyme Toe would run right through them, Laughing all the thyme. suthern was in a trash can, Knitting little kilts. Rainbow girl was by the pond Playing in the silt. u_gene was on the monkey bars, Yodeling into space. Martie and hoot_owl, Were in a three legged race. (Just the two of them????) In the midst of this confusion, I was totally aghast. There was another ME, Teaching fishing class. I looked around in wonder, My eyes near out my head. I turned around, got out of there, Went home and back to bed!! [This message has been edited by Marilyn (edited 02-03-2000).] |

Marilyn meet some lunatics, lounging in the park that day. She should have turned and run but she chose to stay. Too late to run for cover, as you try a hasty retreat. Marilyn is now dreaming of the loonies she did meet. She ran home at last pulled the covers over her head. Can't escape the loonies we're jumping on your bed ! *You said you didn't like NUTS ... but you picked us for your friends ! ! ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

ROFLMAO...not sure whether to feel priveledged to be mentioned in a poem about a group of lunatics or not...lol |
