Take heed, this is but a fun poem Whippoorwill or maiden fair? There are two of you I swear, One that flies a whippoorwill And one of you a maiden fair, That I have placed a pedestal. And I am at a loss to say, Which of you will answer the door. When knocking on the overlay, Whippoorwill or pedestal store. You never clue me this to know. Your heart and mind beyond compare And I never know which will show. Maiden fair or whippoorwill dare. Still you are the one captured me And I have given my love to you. But I would love a way to see, A way to separate the two. So which I ask, in humble swear, The whippoorwill or maiden fair? |

Great poem, Seymour! I think I'd take the whooporwill... Little Spyro T. Dragon "Weird?! No, 'weird' is when you apply your human rules to where they shouldn't be applied. That's why it seems strange to you." --Ttark |

Sy, After all these years of marriage, you still don't know? That is the mystery of a woman, and I'm sure your wife is a typical woman. This was fun to read Love ya Liz |

Little, Good answer, thank you. Martie, That's true, they sing the same. *L* Elizabeth, I'm glad you thought it a fun poem, enjoyed your response. Love Sy |
