Awake Awake, the sun has risen. Look upon the bright new day. You are free of nights' imprison, Whether it be dream or nay. Shed the cloak the blanket of night, With its fantasies and dream. Walk among the things of light, That is the maker of the scheme. Be not afraid how hard the way, Stand and face the days unknown Take advantage of the day, And turn the unknown to known. You will light a part of the dark, With your add of candle of one. It will add with the others a spark And that is all, that can be done. Reach out each moment do not waste, The precious now does not wait. It rides the wings of time posthaste. For the sands of time there is no sate. Just add your light, your candle of one And you will have done what can be done. |
