My Valentine

Many years I’ve searched the world
Even crossed the Milky Way
To find my dear Valentine
There’s none for me til this day

Once I went to Amsterdam
For a Red Light District hunt
But all I found were pussies
And a scruffy old Dashund

Just when I thought I found him
Yeah, a hunk that makes ya gulp !
I really got excited
Tripped and broke the red light bulb !

I wanted to recover
And really needed a break
Found myself this coffee shop
Serving coffee with hashcake !   (Hi   )

Off to Paris then I was
l’Amour city number one
But, oh, do they speak funny
Call ya "hun" instead of "hon"

Took a walk along the Seine
Some Clochard came floating by
Gave me his seductive smile
Really thought that day I’d die !

Needed food and some French wine !
Ordered French and got me snails !
Never eaten them before
Only used them for "snail" mail.

These were some of my ventures
Went to Rome, London, Bombay
But never found this lover
Secret for this special day

I’m tired of my travels
Waiting for this secret dear
So I was sort of hoping
YOU’d be my Valentine this year

Munda

Munda-
So cute and comedic.

Munda,
As a Lady so Witty, so Talented, so Industrious, so Intelligent, (probably not a bad looker, either), and so well travelled---just remember, not many would Deserve the pleasure of your company--So keep looking,
that right Rendezvous Lover is out there somewhere--(Maybe you ought to try looking in the USA next time-you'd probably have 'em lined up for a country mile!)
Wonderfully witty and charming piece here, I really enjoyed the read & the review,  David

Well, Munda - with a sense of humor like that, the US is certainly going to sit up and take notice... Very, very cute...
