This post is in reply to "mariee66" post "Where does time go ?" Again it is a scientists approach at an answer . * When is a subtler question it may seem She drowns in the senses’ turbulent stream * When covets the promise of a future event, or the knowledge of a long ago dead past, both being from our senses, this moment absent, but thoughts can’t grasp This moment’s present, as the above line in the rhyme is already in a casket So, When does Father Time spend his leisurely moments ? There’s still that illusive sensation of the inner clock It is an illusion resulting from the Where flock which is the incessant motion of the stock, never arriving at a port’s dock The stock are moving objects that are nothing but thoughts in neurons that arc and spark Einstein knew of this questions game, so he invented the famous space-time where both are treated as the same Accordingly, time is the lead singer in a quartet band singing songs, but never alone, on the music stand, senses being an audience with clapping hands seeing objects, in the rhythm, twirl and dance The illusion of time is shattered for the parted twin boarding a spacecraft in the Relativistic Thought Plane Now you know that When is a Where, one is a h**l*t, the other is a wh*r* If you’ve been attentive to my tongue’s strife will you still ask yourself ; "When will my next check arrive ?" HMM... My poem was meant to be sad and thought provoking~ I wrote it when I learned of my mother's illness... She has since passed away~ Thank you for your reply.. I do appreciate it~ I guess I know *Where* now~  ) Marie~ |
