Tonight I feel as if my troubles have faded,
After all the years that I have waited.
For someone like you, to hold and to touch,
Someone like you, that I care for so much.
You make me laugh more than just once in a while,
And when I look in your eyes, you make me smile.

When the clock says that it's time, I wish you could stay,
Because everytime I'm around you, my heart melts away.
And It races with each and every touch of your hand,
For some reason, I feel that you truly understand.

When we talk on the phone, I just can't wait to see you,
And when I feel all alone, I call just to hear you.
When I lye awake at night, and it's you that I miss,
I think how it felt so right, the first time we kissed.

Thank you so much for bringing back this memory, i remember the first time i kissed the love of my life, and for an instant i almost forgot how special that time was. Beautiful poem, just lovely.

Only after trying so hard to let go, did i realize how much i wanted to hold you forever> Amber and Ellis forever and always

Very sweet! How well I remember my first kiss from someone I truly loved...even wrote a poem about it years later...will post when I get home
