Oh! I've often wondered how poems were made
Between the passions of gold and jade;
To capture time with only your will,
For just a moment to hold it still.

My hopes and dreams, I can not deny
To ponder where my fate shall lie;
Whether it grows, or may it fade,
A richer life from what is made.

I've asked not for this, nor felt I sought
With those I've loved and what it's brought;
If fate shall chill and bring calm by me,
You're truly Inspiration of love to be.

I hope in the future, and not so far,
That you'll gaze upon our special star;,
May the light grow brighter without the shade,
For I've often wondered how poems were made.

Paul-
This is simply beautiful.
Welcome to Passion's family of
poet friends.

Well, you don't 'have to wonder'
anymore !  Poems are made in
hearts like yours.

I could say me2, but that's already your name
You did such a nice piece there
I would say you don't have to wonder anymore
Life is singing the songs all you have to do is listen and write
Well done, very well
Welcome to passions

 The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools.

Welcome

I think I have the answer to your question.
Poems are made by the creative heart and soul of people with real emotion, like you and me

Wonderful poem

I know, lol, I make them, and I wonder still how they are made, where do they come from? just when I think my labor is finished, out pops another lol

To capture time with only your will,
For just a moment to hold it still.

I love this, what a perfect description of poet and poem...welcome
