I’m standing in the shadow
Created by love’s light
The darkness hides my sorrow
Deep hidden from your sight.

The music’s playing magic
It flows from love's true heart
But lonely grows more tragic
For silence is my part.

We’re dancing in my dreaming
There I’m the one you love
It’s me you are romancing
Beneath dream’s stars above.

Too painful is the waking
A burden I can’t bear
So dreaming’s where I’m staying
Enfolded in your care.

It’s there I see a smile
That’s beaming bright for me
And sings there all the while
Our love was meant to be...

And it’s seeing that smile
That makes my life worthwhile.

Thanks Martie and Gemini! Glad you liked it!
Wouldn't that be great Martie, if people could make all their dreams their reality?! I'm sure people would stand in line for that one!!
