Purple Rose - A Welcome to randygene

Roses are red,
Violets are blue
What is said
Of these is true;
But purple roses do exist
Somewhere they call your heart--
You know, yes, but these you missed
For they come from a land apart.

Purple stands for the deepest things
Inside you that you can give out;
Great attention this always brings
Of this, there is no doubt.

Bring something to the surface, deep from inside
And then carefully give to another--
Purple's a secret that can't be denied
And any hard feelings it will smother.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue
Purple is said
From deep within you.

Well, it's like a lot of people who replied to my other poems in the Pub put it, including the DeVine One--I guess if you have a big enough heart, you can do anything!

I just think about wanting to welcome people, and voila, a poem pops into my head! Of course, it helps to read their poem first, then kind of offer a "balance" to it...like with this one, how randygene wrote about green roses, purple just came into mind...lol

Thanks, but I'm no genius, I just care.
